About Excel: Groveland's Tint & PPF Shop
Excel started in 2014 with one idea: do the work the way you'd want it done on your own car. More than a decade later, the owner still does the work.
A family shop that does it right
Felix opened Excel in 2014. The name was the promise: excellent work, every time, on every car, whether it's a work truck or a Ferrari. He started with detailing and window tint and grew into paint protection film, ceramic coatings and wraps as customers asked for more.
Today Excel works out of its own shop at 115 Sourwood Ln E in Groveland, and Felix works side by side with his son. You'll see both of them named in our Google reviews, again and again. That's not marketing. It's just who does the work.
We're licensed and insured, open six days a week, Sundays included, and we answer the phone ourselves.

What you can expect from us
The owner does the work
At a lot of shops, the person who sells you the job isn't the person who installs it. At Excel, Felix quotes it, Felix and his son install it, and Felix checks it before you pick up. If you have a question months later, you call the same person.
A firm price before you drive over
Text us your year, make and model and what you want. We'll text back a real price, usually the same day. Our ceramic tint is posted at $379 for a sedan's four doors and rear window, with a lifetime warranty on the film. Everything else is quoted on your car, so there are no surprises at pickup.
Done right, or done again
A Model Y customer had a few small bubbles in his back window that didn't settle after a few days. Felix told him to bring it back and redid the glass. That customer left a five-star review about the fix, not the problem. Mistakes are rare, but when something isn't perfect, we make it right without an argument.
Florida-legal, honest advice
We'll tell you what's legal and what's worth it, even when that means a smaller job. We won't install tint darker than Florida law allows, and we won't sell you full-body PPF if a full front fits the way you drive. Our reviews mention the same thing over and over: honest advice and fair prices.
